Germany is important, and its role in strengthening bilateral relations between
the two friendly countries in various cultural, economic, security and cultural
fields.
Dr. Al-Halhouli pointed out that His Majesty's meeting with
German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel and awarding her the Renaissance Medal for
her efforts in strengthening friendly relations between Jordan and Germany
confirms the depth and strength of relations and His Majesty's appreciation of
Chancellor Merkel's role in this.

University is one of the living evidence on the depth of friendship between the
two countries, as it played a distinguished role in increasing interaction
between the youth of the two countries by following the German model in applied
sciences and its academic system, which is based on spending an academic year
in Germany.
Dr. Al-Halhouli explained the importance of the German
dimension in the university by focusing on the German language and attracting
