Fair autumn weather prevails until Thursday

  Moderate autumn conditions are expected to prevail in most regions, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be relatively hot, with low clouds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.

At night, cooler weather will dominate nationwide, with northwesterly light winds, the JMD added.

Toward Thursday, mercury levels will rise few degrees, but similar weather conditions will continue to persist, with easterly to southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the department noted.

The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Tuesday will range between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 14C or even 11C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be hotter with mercury reaching a high of 33C and a low of 22C.
