Int’l oil derivatives prices rise in 3rd week of April
Al-Anbat - The prices of oil derivatives in global markets have risen in the third week of April, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The ministry’s figures showed that the prices of 90-octane gasoline went up by 2.2 percent, going from $593.5 per ton in the second week to $606.7, while the prices of 95-octane gasoline rose from $616.8 per ton to $630.2, an increase of 2.2 percent.
Diesel prices also increased by 3 percent going from $496.7 per ton to $511.6 while the prices of kerosene rose by 4.1 percent, from $508.6 per ton to $529.3.
The prices of liquefied gas went down from $602.5 per ton in May to $537.5 in April.
The Benchmark Brent crude prices rose in the third week of the current month, from $61.9 to $64.6 per barrel.
