Saturday, Sunday will see relatively cold weather almost countrywide-JMD
Al-Anbat - Mercury on Saturday is forecast to rise 4-5 Celsius degrees higher than the average levels, and the weather is relatively cold almost countrywide, and fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
In the southern and southeastern regions, the JMD expects a "weak" opportunity for light and spotty showers in limited areas during the evening and night hours, with southeasterly moderate winds.
According to the JMD report, a slight drop in temperatures is forecast on Sunday, with relatively cold almost countrywide, and pleasant conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
On Monday, temperatures are tipped to drop further, while light and scattered showers are expected in the northern and central regions, the JMD said.
Also on Saturday, temperatures in Amman range between a fair 19 Celsius degrees, dipping into 7C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a pleasant 27C, dropping to 14C during night hours.
