Cold weather forecast today
Al-Anbat - Relatively cold weather conditions are expected to prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba where it will be fair, with low clouds and westerly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Temperatures will rise few degrees on Monday, but similar weather will remain with southerly moderate winds, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, bringing moderate conditions nationwide, with clouds at different altitudes, the JMD noted, predicting chances of light showers at night in the northern and central regions, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk at times.
In Amman today, mercury will hover around 15 Celsius degrees, dropping to 8C during night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 25C, sliding into 13C during night hours.
