Al-Anbat - The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) announced it will be closed for the next two weeks, starting from today, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 after one of its staff members tested positive for the virus.

In a statement, the JOC said that following the decision to cease all sport activities for one week, in light of the COVID-19 positive cases recorded at one of the clubs in the Jordan Football League, the committee conducted viral tests for all its employees.

"The results were all negative, with the exception of one case for an administrative employee," the statement added, noting that all employees are home quarantined until they make sure they are not infected.
