House elects standing committees
Al-Anbat - – The Lower House began Tuesday electing its 15 standing committees in a session chaired by Speaker Atef Trarawneh, two days after His Majesty King Abdullah opened the Parliament's ordinary session.
In a session this morning, the deputies unanimously named the members of the House’s legal, financial, economic and investment, foreign affairs and administrative committees, and have also elected the Education and Youth Committee.
The rest of the permanent committees will be formed in an evening session.
