Al-Anbat - Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI), in cooperation and partnership with the Export Promotion Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and the International Labor Organization (ILO), launched the Jordanian Export Promotion Program for Global Markets.
The JCI said the increase in exports is the sole way to promote the industrial sector, strengthen its contribution to economic growth, create more jobs and raise the export capabilities of industrial facilities.
Speaking to "Petra," on the occasion, Director General of the JCI, Maher Mahrouq, said the program is an integrated system of diverse services carried out in accordance with best international practices aimed to enable small and medium industrial enterprises to enhance their export capabilities.
Mahrouq announced the JCI has kicked off the program's first stage targeting the EU markets to benefit from the agreement to relax the rules of origin signed with the bloc.
