Hotel participates in HORECA for the second consecutive year

Amman, Jordan – October 20, 2018 – Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa marked its distinguished participation at the largest exhibition for Hospitality and Food & Beverages Service industry in the area - HORECA Jordan - achieving six reputable awards and four letters of commendation. The event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Her Excellency Lina Annab, from October 9th until October 11th – in Amman, Jordan. 

Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa competed alongside more than 100 local and international food and beverage and hospitality specialists with over 135 chefs exceling across 22 categories of main courses and desserts, in addition to live cooking across 12 categories.

 Alongside Jordan’s most talented chefs at the most recognized F&B show in the Kingdom, Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa achieved the following awards; Chef Ahmad Hawamdeh won the 1st place silver medal for the best macaroon as well as bronze medal for best Éclair, Chef Yazeed Yacoub accomplished the 1st place silver medal for the best Jordanian Traditional Dish, Chef Mahmoud Afouna achieved the 2nd place silver medal for the best Burger category, Chef Imad Jarmi won the Bronze medal for Junior Chef Black Box – Junior competition, Chef Dyaa Al Asmar won the silver medal for the seafood category, and Chef Yousef Mraish won the 1st place silver medal for the pasta category.

HORECA was attended by ambassadors, diplomatic bodies, businessmen, chambers of industry and commerce, the hotel and restaurant association, Jordan Tourism Board, hotel managers, restaurants and coffee shops owners, business owners and visitors from several countries.
