Saudi Arabia sees 2,238 new Covid-19 cases, 34 deaths

Saudi Arabia has reported 2,238 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total caseload in the Arab Gulf nation to 260,394, according to authorities.
Meanwhile, 34 virus-related deaths were registered over the last 24 hours, pushing the mortality tally to 2,635, the Ministry of Health said during its press conference on Thursday.
The count in the GCC nation's active cases has so far hit 44,269, including 2,170 critically ill patients under intensive care, announced the ministry.
